Conway Ophthalmology

Chancel Construction was brought in on a Design-Build construction delivery format to produce this office building and eye surgery center for Conway Ophthalmology Associates and the Eye Surgery Center of Conway. During the planning stages, the owners made it clear that they wanted the building to have a historic look, but all the modern features and amenities needed to perform cutting-edge opthalmological procedures. The exterior of the facility features historic-look brick and traditional mortar joints. The historic brick continues on to the interior as a feature wall with insets for photographs. As with any project, timelines were important, but since the owners opted for a Design-Build approach, this job was completed in less than nine months once construction began. From the start, Chancel Construction was included with the architect and owner, allowing for cost savings through value engineering. The resulting structure has a profound impact on the community, and Chancel Construction is proud to have partnered with the Eye Surgery Center of Conway and Conway Opthalmology Associates.
